Course overview
Poor watch keeping is the main cause of vessel collisions around the world resulting in significant harm to people and the environment. For example, remember the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989 in Alaska? Approximately 10.8 million US gallons were spilled into the Prince William Sound making it one of the world’s worst environmental disasters.

In this module we are going to talk about good watch keeping practices.
