What is MarineSAFE?

MarineSAFE provides video-based training programmes and uses real fishing footage to support learning associated with risk management in the commercial fishing industry. The programmes are focused on improving health, wellbeing, and safety outcomes, and reducing injury rates.

The resources developed are accessible using all devices and simple to use. MarineSAFE will support your current induction, training, and compliance requirements under MOSS and HSWA.

MarineSAFE has been supported by ACC and the NZ Federation of Commercial Fishermen so the resources developed are FREE and available to all fishers and others keen to learn about our industry.

MarineSAFE provides you with refresher training and useful, practical, induction resources to help with your crew training.

 You and your crew are able to download completion certificates after each module and you have access to various free templates to support your MOSS and HSWA systems onboard.
